THE LADIES of Lily of the Valley, OSH
Ice Dragon’s Darina (“Lily”)
This beautiful sweetheart came to us from Moscow, Russia courtesy of breeder Margarita Sorokina. Affectionately known as “Lily” (aka Lily-Loo or Her Majesty Queen Lily), she is the namesake of Lily of the Valley, OSH. Lily is a beautiful, minky-soft lavender ticked tabby Oriental Shorthair. The silky sheen of her coat is difficult to catch in photos but her stripes have a hologram-affect when she moves. She is the official “berry thief” and “biscuit-maker” of the family and has a gentle, friendly disposition. She is the “mom” of the group and loves to groom everyone – including myself.
Valentina’s Pride Diamond Cupcake (“Cupcake”)
This long-legged, exotic beauty is as sweet as her name and also came to us from Moscow, Russia. Named by my daughter, she is affectionately known as “Cupcake” (aka Cuppies, Princess Cupcakies, or Cuppy-Cakes). Cupcake is an extreme foreign white Oriental Shorthair with intact hearing. According to the kids though, she has a broken meower with a tiny, little fish-breath mew that can barely be heard. This girl walks on stilts and looks delicate, but she has a bit of Brooklyn in her from her brief layover in New York. She can definitely hold her own with the boys in a wrestling match, but any other time Cupcake is the sweetest and is always looking for a warm lap to curl up in.
